Delete your MACPrep account
You can request permanent deletion from inside MACPrep or while signed out. You do not need to reinstall the app, make another purchase, or contact an app store first.
If you can sign in
- Open Profile.
- Choose Delete account.
- Review the data and access consequences, enter the requested confirmation, and submit.
If you cannot sign in
Email support@macprep.org from the address associated with the account using the subject Account Deletion Request. We may ask for limited information to verify that you control the account, but we will not ask for your password, MFA code, payment card number, or a score report.
Deletion ends access tied to the MACPrep account. It does not automatically create a refund or cancel a transaction already completed by Stripe, Apple, or Google. If Apple or Google later verifies that an eligible nonconsumable purchase belongs to a conclusively deleted account, MACPrep may restore that entitlement to a new account. Restoration is not guaranteed for purchases or deletions that cannot be conclusively verified. Review the Terms before confirming.
What deletion covers
After verification, MACPrep deletes or deidentifies the account, profile, study progress, notes, applicant planning entries, leaderboard participation, active notification tokens, and other account linked product data from active systems. We process the request without unreasonable delay and within the deadline required by applicable law.
Limited information that may remain
Some information may remain temporarily in protected backups until the normal backup cycle expires. MACPrep and its payment providers may retain the minimum transaction, tax, refund, chargeback, fraud prevention, security, suppression, consent, or legal claim record required for those purposes. MACPrep also retains a limited pseudonymous Store ownership and transfer audit, using a one way transaction fingerprint rather than the raw Store token, to prevent duplicate claims and support verified restoration. Public reviews are removed on request; a minimal permission or dispute record may be retained where legally necessary. See the Privacy Policy for the current retention framework.
