These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MACPrep (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
MACPrep provides educational board-review practice questions and explanations for anesthesiologist assistants and related learners. The Service is a study aid only.
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase.
Free accounts may access a portion of the question bank (currently a 25-question recommended session). Premium access is sold as a one-time payment for expanded access as described at the point of sale. Features and the size of the question bank may change over time as content is added and improved.
Web payments are processed by Stripe. Purchases made in an iOS or Android app are processed by the applicable app store. By purchasing, you authorize the price and charge shown by that provider. We do not store your full payment card details. Web prices are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise; app stores may display a localized price.
Premium is a one-time purchase. For purchases made directly through MACPrep on the web, you may request a full refund within 48 hours by emailing support@macprep.org. After 48 hours, direct web purchases are non-refundable except under the Pass Guarantee below or where required by law. Purchases made through Apple or Google follow that store's billing and refund rules, and refund requests must be submitted to the applicable store. MACPrep cannot directly refund a charge collected by an app store. If you believe a payment was made in error, contact us and we will help identify the correct provider process.
100% Pass Guarantee for direct web purchases. If you purchase premium access directly from MACPrep on the web, sit the NCCAA certifying examination, and do not receive a passing result, you may request a full refund of the one-time web purchase price you paid. To claim, email support@macprep.org with your official NCCAA score report showing a non-passing result within 90 days of your examination date. There are no question-completion or usage requirements. The guarantee covers the individual purchaser's own examination attempt, is limited to one refund per direct web purchase, and does not apply to App Store purchases, Google Play purchases, vouchers, program grants, or complimentary access.
You agree not to copy, scrape, redistribute, resell, or publicly post the question bank or its contents; not to share your account; and not to attempt to circumvent access controls or extract answers programmatically. The questions, explanations, and compilation are protected intellectual property.
We work to keep content accurate and to mark its review status, but we make no warranty that all content is error-free or current. Report suspected errors via the in-app feedback form.
MACPrep does not tolerate threats, harassment, hate speech, sexually explicit material, unlawful content, or other abusive submissions. You may post honest positive or negative reviews, but you may not impersonate others, violate their rights, or use the review system to abuse another person. Reviews can be reported from their public card. MACPrep may remove violating content and block the responsible account from the Service.
You retain ownership of content you submit. When you choose to publish a review, you give MACPrep a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty free license to display and reproduce the chosen name, credential, rating, and review text on MACPrep's public review surfaces while the review remains published. You may edit the review by submitting it again or request removal at support@macprep.org. MACPrep will not use a member review in broader marketing without a separate permission.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MACPrep is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the prior 12 months.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion from your profile or by email.
We may update these Terms; material changes are indicated by the "last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
